Looking for some insight. Not the original boat owner.
Radar unit is an older SiTex T185. It worked a month ago. Now when I power on the buttons light up but nothing on the screen. The buttons make a noise and seem to act properly. The antenna/radome seems to function. I found a cut wire that connects the radar to the gps. I would be surprised if replacing that connection would solve it as the radar unit should still be able to show it's screen, independent of the gps. What do you think?
Also, I have no idea why it's connected to the gps. I have no options in the gps to utilize a connected radar.
The cable has 6 pins on one end and 9 pins on the other. awm e54661 300v csa awm ll54185 i/ii a/b ft1
I've googled but can't find a replacement cable. Any options besides contacting SiTex themselves? Any thoughts?
