Valves clattering

i have a 15c nissan four stroke had a valve sticking.tore head down cleaned,lapped valves,set clearances.motor runs fine but valves making more noise than before what could cause valves to rattle other than loose or tight valves

Which valve was sticking? A stuck valve is a possible sign of poor lubrication. Either bad oil, a damaged/defective guide, or an overheating motor are likely... and could lead to a damaged stem. What clearances did you measure in the stem-to-guide? Any galling on the stems? What lash clearances did you set? What oil are you running? What is the actual oil pressure? What is the actual start-to-open temperature of the thermostat? Are the cooling passages in good shape? Is the water pump doing its job well?
