any ideas how much boat and trailer weigh

so I got a 78 glastron sv-188 18 ft 150hp outboard with a tilt trailer thing is big just curious how much this might weigh im pulling it with my 4 liter jp grand Cherokee I know ive pulled heavier loads with it

The outboard is probably about 400lbs (you can look up the weight specs here on iboats), the trailer is likely about 200-300lbs depending on single/double axle. The boat I'm not sure on, but likely in the 1200-1800 lbs area. So ballpark of 2000-2500lbs would be my guess

'79 ssv-188 is 1200#
Trailer likely in the 600# range
400 for the outboard.

Batteries, gas and gear, 350


So 2600#

As long as you can stop fine I would not worry about it.
