knocking 98 Mercury 225 EFI Need Advise

I have a 98 mercury 225 efi that I recently took apart because it was knocking. It started knocking when my uncle took the boat on plane for about 200 yards and hit something in the water. It spun the prop and caused the engine to reb up and blow. I took the engine apart and saw a cracked crankshaft and what I think is a main bearing. Do you think that I should just replace the powerhead or try to rebuild the dump thing.

If you repair it make sure you do the t-stat update and lower seal housing update.

Ok when my uncle hit something in the water it broke the crankshaft and ring. If the ring journal is a little wore down, is it worth buying a new crank and replacing the rings.
