Looking for some direction before I start working on something that may not be broken.
I have a 99 Skeeter ZX185 with a 99 Yamaha Vmax
When I turn the start key the oil lamp on the console lights up for a short period , the over heat lamp beside it never comes on. I bought the boat used, and it has always been like this.
What is the normal mode for the over heat lamp? Never on until a problem or briefly on at start up?
