That sounds like a more economical solution as long as it holds.


I went to look at plywood today and found mostly ac birch, Lowes has some fir ac grade that is exterior rated for $40, they also have some sheathing grade ac for $26 - will that do? The next step up is $80 a sheet for marine grade ab. I dont mind the extra cash if the solution is 2 times as good (the price diff) but if it is just going to be just incrementally better I would rather just get the good epoxy sealer and be done with it.
