My folk's are getting close to selling their '91 searay 225br within the next year or so. It has the 7.4l, Bravo I setup. I have my '95 VIP with the 4.3LX, Alpha 1 setup, and would like to eventually have a bigger boat. The thing i'm struggling with is being 21 years old and finishing college, can I justify having to keep gas in the 7.4L, and lugging that big boat around? Towing isn't an issue, but I'm mainly looking for your opinions with cost of ownership, fuel use, etc. The sea ray has been in the family since new and has been very well maintained. I've had the VIP 2 years and it's been a good boat.
