Over the course of last summer I had the carbs rebuilt and the time/throttle linkage replaced. Now when it tries to fire, it yanks the pull string out of my hand. It is like it is trying to fire on closed valves. I assume the timing is off. The strange part is that it will eventually start and run well. To get it to start you must either pull trough the kick or get lucky that the fire occurs on the right cylinder. However when I try to start it again, even hot, it slams against itself.
Does anyone know how to adjust it? It should be easy, but I am not sure which screws/arms to turn.
Here is a link to the components to adjust.
