I have a 1979 Evinrude 35. I am in the process of adding the remote start and charging system. Some of the parts I still need are the electric choke solenoid since my carb/motor has no provision for it.
Can I swap a complete carb with the electric choke from a 1977 Evinrude 35 on? I found one for sale so it seems that's my easiest option, if it will work. (I want to buy the complete carb if it will work because it has the bowl, bracket, linkages, plunger and all)
I checked the part numbers on ********** and they are different, but I'm not sure that completely excludes this as an option. Please help!!!
