i bought this motor and it runs good no problem, IMG_20130105_153128.jpgIMG_20130105_153541.jpgIMG_20130105_153421.jpg the po told me it was a 94 model short shaft 9.9 upgraded to 15hp and electric start, i wanted to look at some parts diagrams to get familiar with my motor, there seems to be some gap in the parts lists, did i get some odd year? i went down to get the model number off the motor and the sticker had been torn off, maybe this stamp will helpIMG_20130105_224746.jpg hope someone can shed some light, parts seem to be listed till 93 and then from 95. why no 94:confused: the number is G357435

after a little research i see that 94 was the last year of the 2 stroke? why do parts lists run to 93? i read of a similar motor it was a E10RERB could that be it?

Re: help with model number please

Hint.....your motor has both rope and electric start so the model number will have "RE" designation......that should narrow your list down a little.

I see......then do the reverse of what i stated previously......if the motor is a longshaft, eliminate anything on your list that has "RE" before "L"and anything that does not have "R" after "10".

Re: help with model number please

So what are we left with?

E10RERB or E10RLERB......depending on the shaft length of the motor.
