I recently purchased a Jon boat with a 96 mercury tracker 25 hp. The boat has an older quicksilver remote. I don't know what the harness is for but it won't fit the mercury. I have been using the pull start but would love to get the electric start working. The motor has a 6 pin female harness and the remote has a 7 pin male. I can't find much online as far as wiring diagrams but all I need it to do it crank the motor and cut it off. If anyone could give me some info on what I can splice together to make it work I would appreciate it.
