Repair to transom for twin outboards

I have a 2004 Wellcraft 29' with twin 225 saltwater outboards. It appears that my port motor has come loose at the bolt going threw the Transom and now the motor is tilted slightly. The bottom 2 bolt appear to be slightly tilted towards the port side of the boat. I want to pull the motor and realign the bolts and mount but am not sure the best way to make sure if the bolt holes are ob-longed how to repair this. Any advise would be appreciated

Welcome aboard, reeleminross. I'm with Bubba. If the mounting bolts are moving/loose and the O/B has tilted to one side there is a good chance a transom R/R is in your future. Search the forums for how to check for rot. Good luck.

Post some photos. More than likely the transom is bad and needs to be repaired, but some photos will let everyone here see what's going on.

why it happened is more important than how to fix it--and will tell you how to fix it. Could be as simple as needing bigger washers or otehr backing. Could be incorrectly sealed holes. Hope it's the former.

Thanks for all the replys and tips so far. I intend to pull the port motor this sat. I will shoot some pics this week and put them up as well. Thanks agian.
