Last boat was an 18' bowrider. It was a good starter boat but we now want something a little bigger in the 20-21 range & I have it pretty much narrowed down to 4 but here are my top 2. We live in the gulf & mainly cruise around the bay, hit the beach / sandbar & go wakeboarding. Leaving my house there is a low bridge that I have to take into consideration as I believe we have about a 4' clearance at high HIGH tide... Something that wasn't an issue with my last 18' boat but may now be as we want a bigger boat. We also want something a little more stable when we go farther out into the bay / gulf.

1st one is a 1995 Excel 19'. Overall boat is in good shape but it is 17 years old & has carpet over wood floors. Last boat had soft spots so I am now much more aware of these things. Here is some info:
Boat in great shape. It starts right up and runs strong! Has a 4.3 mercury engine, has fold down chairs that laydown flat plus has back sun deck. Galvanized trailer included. $3500

Pros = 4.3 v6, cost $3500, lower bridge clearance height
Cons = 17 years old, not super clean, wood floors, carpet...

2nd boat is a 1997 Eclipse 21'. This thing is mint & looks like new. It should be as he is asking $7000 for it... Here is some info I got from him on the phone today:
5.0 Mercruiser, Alpha One, 100% water ready, interior has been completely redone and looks brand new, no joke. Has new depth finder, new stereo w/ marine speakers, new throttle and steering cable, and new water separator, everything works on the boat; trim, bilge pump, blower, lights, speedometer, fuel/temp/and oil gauges except the horn :) Boat is fast (almost 50) but good for skiing, tubing or cruising on the water. Boat seats 8 people. Original tandem-axle trailer included but will need to be fixed because of some rust. Includes 12 & 15lb, anchor, 4 life vests, oar, light pole, and 2 bumpers but I already have most of this anyway.

Pros = all fiberglass, no carpet, looks like new & ready to go.
Cons = 5.0 vs a 4.3 or a 5.7, 15 years old, may have bridge clearance issue by just a few inches, more expensive

I don't know Wellcraft that good so what are your thoughts on the 2 models?
What should I look out for?
Anyone know the bridge clearance for them?

Thanks!!!
