I have a 99 Johnson 250 with a bad power head and want to know if I can replace it with a 95 225 Johnson that I have. Is the lower leg the same and will it bolt up and work correctly? The part numbers for the power head base gasket are the same but part numbers for the adapter plates are different. I know wiring is different but I have all wiring and ignition systems for 95 and 99. Thanks
