...Advanced Marine for ordering parts/lower unit work? I found them on ebay. They're located in Interlochen, MI. Bought a used bearing carrier from them. I called several times and talked to the owner - Joe. He seemed very knowledgable and helpful. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with them.

I've got to quit with these 1 AM posts...

I bought a pull start assembly from him for an evinrude 9.5 a couple years ago. Nice guy to talk to and shipped the starter fast. It worked fine , no problems. Hey, its New years you should still be up . Lol.

I have dealt with him too. Very fair and honest guy.
I bought an EMM for a 2004 225. It was unfortunately bad. He and I worked together on it....he refunded my full money, I sent the EMM to DFI, they confirmed it to be bad, and actually paid him some money for it for scrap value....used electronic components to scavenge, etc.

I would definitely do business with him again.

Thanks guys. Good to hear others have used him. Now if I can just get the parts and get it back together. Going trout fishing back home in the Ozarks in a few weeks.
