Hi. My 1996 88spl has a cracked waterjacket as well as scored cylinders & missing mtrl from the pistons. As such I will be looking to replace with something plug & play so that I don't need to remove controls, etc., ideally just a power head. As I am concerned about what I have read on some of the remanufacturing specialist found throughout the i-net I wondered if Evinrude / BRP might have a 'division' that provides this service, however I am not able to find anything about it at their web site. One dealer told me they do but couldn't give me any other details such as are all internal parts new, etc.
So, would anyone know if Evinrude remanufactures and if so, any details and experiences?
