1967 Evinrude 9.5hp Sportwin Fuel Pump

I posted some earlier threads about replacing the motor mounts and lower unit seals on this motor. I'm happy to say I was able to get those tasks accomplished, but now I have other issues. When I pump the fuel bulb I am getting gas leaking out of the fuel pump and the vent hole on the carburetor. I'm thinking this means I need to rebuild or replace my fuel pump because the bulb never gets really tight. Any suggestions?

sounds like you need to look at both the fuel pump and the carb. re-kit the pump, and clean and re-kit the carb.
