pros and cons of blackmax 150?

i am currently looking at 2 diffrent bassboat and both have blackmax 150s on them. idk the years but i know one needs a starter the other is water ready. is there any things i need to look for when we test run it?

Run a compression check on the engines and check the lower units for water. That will tell you if you need to go futher with the deal or not.

the one i looked at today had 120 on all 6 cylinders we are going back thursday for a test run boat was getting a new steering cable so ill check the lu after we run it.
