87 johnson 88 spl will not run ...only has spark on one cylinder

just wondering if the model had any common problems with spark problems. it a 87 johnson 88 spl. checked all the coils by swapping them to the working power pack. it has two power packs, i swapped them and its the same cylinder that has the spark. any suggestions or common problems?

Sounds like you have a wiring issue to power pack.
Trace out the wires and you can try using a jumper once you find the bad one(s). once you install a jumper to bypass the bad wire it should run. Then just replace the bad wire.
