Re: Does anyone know the value of a Lark V ?
That would be a 1963 model. Price depends on condition and location. They made a lot of these motors and there are a lot still in service, so they aren't worth all that much. The mechanical shift models will go for more than the electric shift models, which are less reliable and a lot more money to repair if something goes wrong. In good running condition and with all the controls including the wiring harness and key switch/dash plate, a mechanical shift model would be worth about $300 in my area. I personally shy away from the electric shifters and probably wouldn't pay more than $100 for one (as a parts motor).
