My 9.5 hp Evinrude is sitting on the boat outside. Do I need to bring the motor in due to coming temps in the low teens? The motor was last run with Stabil added to the fuel. The motor has not been run for 2 months. I am rather new to this, so I really appreciate your advice. Thanks!!

If the motor is upright, not tilted up it will be fine.
If there is the slightest chance someone could steel it take it inside.
years ago I lost a 5 year old 50 Merc 500 In a wide open though long driveway off a busy street.

If it sits outside the water, you should be alright. If it is in the water ,get it out

The other thing to watch is making sure your lower unit has no water in it. If your done for the year, drain it and reinstall new. Then your ready for next year.

Thanks for your information. It is outside the water in a covered carport in Topeka, Kansas.
This helps because, with my 25 hp sitting in the basement, my wife will be less critical than if I brought another motor into the house.

Thanks again. This is a most helpful site for newbies.
