I have a 3sl I am fixing up and cannot find the cooling water outlet. I have seen Youtube vids on similar 3hp Yamaha motors, and they all pee just aft of the throttle handle, port side. There are holes in there, but no water coming out and no tubes I can see, nor anywhere to attach one.
I looked over the schematics and found the water hoses, but no outlet.
I ran the lower end with a drill, and the new impeller was working fine.
I also verified the pipe and impeller housing was lined up during reassembly.
