Cleaning fuel tanks

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning out some of the crude from 24 year old fuel tanks?

The boat, 88 Sea Ray with twin 5.7's, Alpha Gen II's, has some sediment one of the tanks. The two filters stopped it very well. I pumped all the fuel out and was wondering if I would have better luck with anything besides fresh gas and repeated draining to clean them up.
Kerosene, Diesel, Gas + (some brand of snake oil)
The othe tank tank seems to be fine, but I will do the same , just as a precaution.
Removing the tanks are not, an option.

One post shows where they purchased a 12 volt fuel pump, rubber tubing, clamps and a generic fuel filter/separator like many late model boats are using.

They pumped out the old gasoline and added fresh 90/10 gas to the tank. Then they pumped the "new" gas out thru the filter/separator and back into the fuel tank time and time again--until the gasoline was clean. It looks like they may have recirculated the gasoline a number of hours. You'd finish by pumping the 90/10 fuel into a jerry can. Fuel additive like Marvel Mystery Oil might be good to condition the 90/10 gasoline.

Then, inspect your tank visually. You'll need to also clean out all your metal fuel lines. If you run up on any rubber fuel lines, replace them. Obviously, all fuel filters also need replacing.

You should then be good to go.
