Ended up pumpimg some water/sour fuel/etc into the crankcase this spring. When drained a bunch of clear "stuff" ran out before any oil did. I changed the oil and filter and everything looked good but now starting to get "milky" again. Wondering if I still have a problem, or if maybe I didn't get everything out and now whatever was left is mixing with the oil. How many changes should it take to get everything out? 1984 Merc 140

There's no firm answer to this, change it again and find out....you definitely don't want that contaminated oil to stay in there and kill everything.

If it's milky, I'd suspect you'll get most of it out next time, that means you no longer have deep puddles of the gack under the oil, instead the little bit of leftovers are just blended with the oil.

But if it continues to get milky despite multiple changes, you may have a cracked head, block, or bad head gasket.
