Hi All
I have searched the net over and over and can not find an answer. Here is my question. I have installed a brand new OEM Bravo Magnum transom assembly. There is a speedometer connection that comes through the transom. The transom assembly came from the factory with a yellow cap on the speedometer connector on the inside of the transom plate. My question is... Is this yellow cap going to prevent any leaking into the bildge through the speedometer connector? I have seen schematics, where the place where the speedometer sender hose is connected is removed and replaced with a plug. Unfortunately I have reinstalled the engine and can't get to the speedometer connector. If it will leak past the yellow cap is there a way of sealing it from the outside of the boat. Any help appreciated.
