Ayuh,... Is there a bolt from the other side,..??

If not, I'd guess it's sweat fit, 'n soldered...

Ayuh,... To clearify, I donno yer motor, but am a life long Desiel Mechanic,...

Yer exploded view don't really match the picture above, but,...

I'd have to Guess the joint in the picture is either sweat fit, 'n soldered, or possibly an O-ring seal, that don't wanta give up...

The exploded view would lead me to believe the area circled in red(in the picture) is sweat fit, 'n soldered...

Re: VP oil cooler disassembling

I believe the leakage is from the junction between the cover (made of copper) with the internal part of the oil cooler (made of copper as well). The two parts are soldered with tin. So my idea is to "refresh" the welding...the only question is what will happen to the internal o-ring.
Before going to refresh the welding I will try to take it apart...but it seems an hard task!
As english is not my mother tongue language...what do you mean with "sweat fit"...does it mean that the piece has been mounte with some pressure and then soldered in place?
I do not think so because form the explded view that matche exactly my piece you can clearly see a o-ring
