Finders/Ploters existing mounts?

Got another one.Late so last today:facepalm:
The 97 nitro 700lx has the tracker finder at wheel.
Humminbird at troll motor. Dumb question am sure
but can the existing mounts & wiring be used?
Can ya cross check serial numbers or something
and maybe find a beter model with same hook/wire?

Please does anyone know this? Talked with cs on lowrance & humminbird sites.
Looks like they both have no USA phone people. Cant even understand what they say.

Unless you tell us what models these mystery fish finders are, we can't help you. :redface:

If these units are original to the boat (1997), it's very unlikely anything new will fit the existing mounts. But if you look up replacement transducers, you can see what other units use the same transducer. The power connector may or may not match, though.
