1976 Evinrude 25Hp will start but won't stay idling

Hey guys,
Just picked up a 25hp evinrude, cleaned the carbs and replaced the spark plugs, but it won't stay idling. I saw that one of the ignition coils was cracked, do you think that could be it?

First thing to do is a compression test. Second thing is pull one spark plug wire at a time when running to see if it's running on both cyls.

I did the compression test and it was is the 120's. Ill troubleshoot the other thing a little later. Im really starting to think it is in face an ignition coil issue.
