serial# i.d. no one can find

serial #5108648 have had this problem every sense i bought it the cowl is a v1500 but my local dealer can not find the number anywere has old style heads but new style popit what ineed are motor to spacer to mid gaskets any help out there thanks!

thanks man just dont know y this # will not come up bbeen going thru this every i got it like i have said sounds killer and vreeeves like crazy can't wait to get it right! thanks kracker.

That's due to the age of the engine. The dealers computer system usually only finds serial numbers from late 79 to current.
