I just bought a 1969 350 35 hp, the bottom spark plug is not getting a spark. I have removed the flywheel and want to replace the coil and need instructions. Do I need to remove the stator to do this? Is there a link to an online manual or youtube video? Thank you.

How did you determine the coil is not working? I have rarely seen one of these fail, unless they are visibly damaged. More likely you will get spark back if you do basic tune-up items with points and condensers.

If you do determine you need to replace the coil, there is a tab on the outer edge of the laminates that holds the coil in place. Bend the tab down, undo all primary and secondary wires from their posts, and pry the coil off the laminates.

I have replaced the condenser and filed the point but I have not replaced them, they look good.

I have checked this wire and since the top cylinder gets a good spark I don't think that is it. I was able to remove the coil, I also want to replace that spark plug wire and I need to removed the stator assembly. Do you know how to do that? Thanks for your help
