Hi

I am having problem a with figuring out what is the boss gasket in my carb kit. I see in the photo that the boss gasket goes over the high speed nozzle. Does the boss gasket tighten up between the nozzle and the bottom of the steel. But all the gaskets I have in the kit fall right over the nozzle. Which gasket should I use in the photo?

#6 - Don't worry if it's a little loose on the nozzle. Picture 2, frame 1 is the proper place for it. Frame 2 is incorrect.

It will seal when you replace the carb bowl. In fact, it may appear that it is too thick when you attempt to put the bowl back on. But just tighten up the bowl bolts and it will compress the gasket to form a good seal.

So in my photo with the gaskets which number is it? They all just full over the threaded nozzle. The internal diameter of the gaskets are to big. Am I missing the right gasket from the kit?

As mentioned above, it's #6 in your pic. If it's too big, you may have the wrong kit for your motor.

you need to install the nozzle first..., the boss gasket goes on the the end that protrudes into the bowl ,and as mentioned, it should get compressed and seal when you tighten up the bowl.
