I just received a boat for free from a family member. He was trying to get it started but it would not crank so he bought a new battery and had the started bench tested. He also thought that it may have been the rotor cap so he bought a kit and some plug wires but then as he took off the cap he noticed that the timing belt was broken. I know this boat ran last year, I drove it myself and it ran really good. But it has sat since, I want to buy a timing belt kit but I am not sure if the heads are going to have issues since the belt snapped.
