Hello Guys.
I have a chance at a good buy on an outboard which doesn't have a title, from Georgia. Does anyone out there have an idea of what I would need to do to get a title. The owner tells me all I have to do is send in a complete form with the serial number to SCDNR and I'll get a new title in the mail. Does that sound right?

Thanks in advance for any information,
John T.

Probably best to call SC DNR. Or check their web site. Make sure you get a bill of sale with all the particulars.

SCDNR - Boating Registration

It looks like a title isn't required in Georgia so you won't need one but that page will tell you everything you need. You'll have to print out the bill of sale to fill out and sign at the time of purchase.
