I am replaced all the gaskets on my exuast/intake manifold as they are in bad shape. My concern is do I just put the gaskets in and tighten them down or use some sort of sealer between each gasket? (2.5L - 120hp).
You need to inspect surfaces for<br />flatness/smoothness. sealer will help<br />poor surfaces mate better. Whatever you decide<br />make sure you use some antisieze compound to protect bolts from corrosion/sticking.<br />New gaskets, good surfaces don't require<br />sealer. Some people "glue" everything.<br />I have been known to "stickit"
