Maybe this will be helpfull to some.
This is through transom gear oil fitting, many of us pulled to hard on the hose and broke off the fitting. This was my first time dealing with this, it took 15 min to remove E washer ( that was the hardest) then it just slides out ( dont forget to remove the gear oil hose in engine bay (if you don't you will never be able to slide out the fitting) To put it in, just a reversed procedure (11" long nose pliers will help you with the E washer) On the picture you can see old one and new one.

Fitting was $9.69 at merc dealer and it comes with all o rings.
