I am restoring a 19' Starcraft Islander with a 3.8 litrOMC e V6 and am in desperate need if possible of an original wiring schematic for this model. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been told that they don't exist but I'm sure somebody has a reference of somekind.

Wiring schematic for the engine?

For that you'll need the factory service manual. eBay is probably going to be a good source for that.

Wiring for the insturments?

For that you'll just need to figure what you need wired up and go from there. Here is a very general diagram:

Then you can start doing some research here:

Welcome to iboats.

You were told a lie.......

Get your engine model number and go to this web site http://www.outboardbooks.com/ and get the proper manual for your motor. This will cover the motor and outdrive to include the motor wiring diagram.

What Jason posted is for the gauges etc but not the motor specifics........... you do need both diagrams.
