Help identify lower unit

I have a 98 Johnson 150 Ficht Ocean Runner J150FSXECR with a broken lower unit. I found a steal of a deal on a lower unit that was on a 2001 150 Evinrude E150FSLSIF. Upon searching through part numbers I found this lower should work with my motor, I just had to swap for a longer driveshaft and shift rod. Now that I got the new lower unit home it sure looks to me like it is the Magnum lower unit, even says so under the trim tab. When I look up Magnum lower units they only seem to fit 2002 and newer... If it is indeed a Magnum I'm debating reselling it and getting the standard lower unit as I just need to put something on to sell the whole motor. So my questions are what exactly is my new lower unit in case I want to sell it, and will it work with my current motor?

it should bolt striaght on cause the exhausts are the same the 98 fits a 2001 , i think there are a few changes in the base plate for the pump in the 2001 , if the exhaust gonna fit in the box & every thing lines up you should be sweet
