Buddy has a 07 250hp etec and i offered to help him tune it up, he said he has read the spark plugs have to have the opening face the injector when installing them any one know of this? So you would have to find a spark plug that has the threads that end up that way?

It's called indexing the spark plugs. You place a Sharpie mark on the the old plug @ 12:00 before removing. Then you copy the same relative mark on the new plug, and making sure it's @ 12:00 when tightened down. The trick is that you're trying to get the spark plug electrode at the same angle facing the intake valve as it was previously.

Many modern automobiles have spark plugs "indexed."

One thing I should also mention, buy 7 or even 8 plugs I will almost grantee one will not index.
