So I have the motor starting with the key now...phew! No screwdriver required...yet! Easy fix and no $$$ needed! :D Now its time to start the tune up!

I see that there is a dipstick like tube with a cap that says drain on it, located next to the oil dipstick. Saying so I cannot get a pan under the engine, I assume that this tube is to drain the oil??? If this is correct, how do I go about getting the oil out of it?

If this is not correct, how do I drain the oil?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Several different types of pumps available. I had a hand pump that I added a hose fitting to to make it work.

one other question, how many quarts?

About 5 if you change oil filter too. I usually screw a garden hose on that oil drain and pump air thru rocker cover,Air pushes oil right out the gaRden hose into your bucket. Will have to plug the breather on rocker cover.

I would make sure the oil has zinc in it or use an additive. Valvoline racing oil has lots of zinc.. Filter would be STP #S5
