I am considering a snap in carpet. In order to do this I need to have the carpet bound. Is this something that is done by automotive upholstery shops? Do they sell binding to match marine carpets? I have a guy that is pretty good but I doubt he does a lot of boat carpets.
I did see that there are companies that will sell you a kit and price accordingly. Are they cost effective?
Is there a big difference is the quality of the carpet as the weight goes up? Is higher alway better? My stock carpet was okay but I have no idea what weight it was.
