Needed intake gasket set 17340 & was sent 17341. Another week must pass to get the right set.

I hate it when I'm geared up to complete a project and I get stopped in my tracks. Yeah, I know...I should have checked when I got them. :mad:

Sure would be nice if everything and everyone was 100% PERFECT at all times.

Good to here from you Don.

I centered myself over the engine and gently set the intake in place, and wondered why the new gasket (port) was still showing blue rings. All bolt holes aligned.

Oval port gasket on square port head. :facepalm:

Yep. I am happy to be an American and to have a boat with (limited) resources to buy parts and be able to go to the lake. I have much more to be pleased with than most.
