How can I tell if the VRO has been removed on a 1990 Johnson 120?

I bought a boat that has a 1990 Johnson VRO 120 on it. The motor starts easy and runs great. The guy I bought it off of traded for it and knows nothing about it. How can I tell if the VRO has been removed and that I need to mix my own oil. Any help will be so greatly appreciated it.

At first glance it would have no oil tank. Don't run it even for a second till ya know
