Hey guys,
I have recently purchased a 115hp 1979 Merc Looks and goes great but on installing it on my boat I notice the guide block for the gear selector was broken in half... Now being diaspointed and wanting to see if the motor at least changed gears properly I used super superglue to reassemble the guide block and it appears strong but I do not see this as a permenant fix.
So.. I searched the www and found the part is quite inexpensive to buy being only around $6 AUD but the kicker was the freight from the US is about 50 bucks.... I looked around for an aussie online company and the only one that came up was iboats and after emailing them i was told that they do not carry this part they suggested I ask you guys where I might find one that has "reasonable" shipping. Any help greatly appreciated!!
Cheers guys
