Looking to see if anyone can help ID these motors, saw them the other day. I love looking at old outboards, doubt I'll ever go this far back with fixing them.

The only markings on this were MD 183312 on the upper leg of the casing. The prop was interesting, it has 2 piece insert with a ridged rubber insert that seems to act as a clutch.

No marks on this one, the prop had a spring behind the nut

First one is a Mercury, likely a model KE4, 7.5hp, c. 1947-1950. Missing gas tank, tank support band, carburetor, correct tiller grip, etc.

Second one is an Evinrude Zephyr, likely post WWII (going by the black Bakelite carb knob). Missing clamp brackets, gas tank, front cover, recoil, etc.

Thanks for chiming in Chinewalker, I knew someone would know what these are.

Certifiably parts motors or junk.
