This is my first time having an MPI engine(s) . . . And I might winterize the engines this weekend.

So, I am not totally clear on the oil fogging of an MPI engine versus the regular old carbureted engines.

Thanks in advance for any clarity that you can bring to this 'foggy' situation.

Engines are in my sig below.

I was told that fogging isn't recommended/required for MPI engines. Anyone?

True, you can't fog them like a carb, but here is a service bulletin on how to fog the MPI engines.

Thanks Don. It sounds like 'fun'. I did find a thread or 2 that mentioned mixing up a 'cocktail' for the engine.

Sort of does the '2-cycle' thing on a '4-cycle' engine.

Since I'll be disconnecting the fuel lines, it would be a good opportunity to drain down the tank and feed the cars.

I also got to replace the starboard fuel pump . . . so I should do that first so it gets the MPI 'cocktail'
