83 bayliner won't start

Ok so here's what I got . 83 bayliner Capri 19 foot 125 hp inboard . I bought the boat in aug 2012 and it ran when I went to buy it . And I towed it home 70 miles and it wouldn't start. Here's what I tried
Timing
Points
Plug wires
Spark plugs
We tried starter fluid and gas straight into the carb
We have spark( nice blue ) and firing in the right order.
We have used 2 or 3 different battery's
I'm just not sure what else to try
It's got fuel , air , and spark
I'm new to boats and this is really getting me off on the wrong foot.
Has Anyone else seen this with these boats .

Does the engine cranking speed seem normal (not real slow)? Is the drive down when you are trying to start it?

When you put gas or starting fluid in it, does it fire at all?

i had the same problem, try pumping the throttle in neutral. so that the carb will get gas. also check to see if the stream of fuel coming from the small copper tube that aims down the throte of the carb. when you pump the throttle.
