I have a 1989 AQ231B and getting just a bit of water in the starboard rear cylinder. It runs a little rough until the water clears out and runs great after that. Pulled the manifolds and risers off today and there is evidence of water in the actual exhaust port. Is this a manifold replacement or gasket? Anyone have an issue like this?

Boat is an 1989 Olympic. Engine is a 305 with a Volvo Penta 280 sterndrive.

More than likley it's the riser gone bad.
If it's original equipment it's lasted a bit longer than expected.
They can last up to 20 years most get replaced by 15?

Bite the bullet and redo the whole set.
If not your gonna be doing head work too!
