Hello everyone, I have a 87 mercury 75hp, and when starting it just turns and turns, eventually it will start,after awhile. Once started its fine.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Please post your starting procedure. Are you priming the motor? Using the enrichner? Maybe the enrichner isn't working? May need to test that. It's easy to do.
Disconnect enrichner output hose from intake. Pump up primer bulb and have some body push in the key. Does gas squirt out the enrichner output hose? It should.
