If I had that mounted on my stern I could end the problem of jet fleas jumping my wake.

The only drawback is I'm afraid you'll run out of ammo before the world runs out of stupid.

Re: I solved my waiting time problem to launch

LOL - my first thought was the recoil on that thing has a reasonable chance of canceling out the forward thrust from the stern drive :D

The nose gun on the A-10 Warthog can produce as much thrust as an afterburner...

Even an automatic weapon still requires some means of chambering the first round. The venerable .50 cal "Ma Deuce" requires two pulls before she will rock and roll. I have been thinking about getting a naval three pounder for mine.

A cannon would be nice at times.
Believe I would go with a 40mm bofers gun just as affective with less recoil.

Or the best option could be the GAU-8 Avenger rotory cannon front the A10.

Built some boats for the US navy foriegn military sales a few years ago. 22 footer with 4 M60's, two on each side, 50cal in the bow and a 40mm grnade launcher over the twin 150 OMC's in the stern. Reminds me of when we did the first article test on a local lake here in Wisconsin. Boy did we get some looks!

Ummmm! Yes Sir, y'all go right on ahead!:)

Funny, since my primary boat is a center console, I immediately get the reaction that I'm sort sort of water law enforcement.

I can come around a bend, standing behind my console, and watch the antics of water party enthusiasts hiding everything (illegal) and searching for PFD's. It's a hoot. Don't mean it but it is funny to watch.
