I have a pontoon that I am rebuilding. I was thinking of upgrading from the 87 merc 45 hp that I have, but the other day a freind mentioned it might be fun to just add a second 45. A couple of questions here, given the hp of the motors would I have a significant problems with torque steering on a pontoon? I would like to have them counter rotate, did they have a counter rotating lower unit for them or is it typical to have a left hand prop and a standard lower unit? I can't seem to find a left hand prop for that motor. Any thought or suggestions would be appreciated....twins is a new thing for me!

Thanks!

You are not going to find counter rotating lower units for your 45s... Never made them.
